Delaware Festival of Words

I’ll be at the Delaware Festival of Words in Wilmington, Delaware on February 15th.

From the website:

The Delaware Festival of Words is a free, annual event for
middle school and high school students, teachers, and librarians.
Now in its 18th year, the event was developed to encourage a love of
reading and writing by introducing young adults to diverse authors and ideas.
Workshops at the festival focus on interaction with authors, discussion of
featured books, activities to develop writing and poetry skills,
and the opportunity for students to express themselves.

Black Panther 2018

Uh, I am incredibly excited and honored to write a middle grade book featuring Black Panther.

I’ll be working with Marvel Press, which is an imprint of Disney/Hyperion.

It is an amazing opportunity. I love the Marvel Universe characters and Black Panther has always been one of my favorites. Bringing young T’Challa to life is going to be a blast! Look for it in January of 2018.
